What we’re up to before Christmas…

While plans for our 2013 projects are bubbling away we’ve all been busy working on individual projects around the North West. Martin has been working with the Post Graduate students at ALRA North and directed their showcase which took place last week.

Sarah is currently one of ten playwrights working on Skylines, The Royal Exchange’s project in development with Theatre Centre.  They have been developing new ideas that explore the imaginative possibilities and theatrical challenges of creating work for 8-13 year olds. On Wednesday 5 December at 1pm there will be a script in hand performance of their work in progress at The Royal Exchange. Tickets are £3.50 and can be booked via the Exchange box office.

Francesca has written a short comedy play for new writing company, Box of Tricks Theatre, Christmas fundraiser – Quizmas!  The night will feature other short plays by North West playwrights, a pub quiz, raffle and happy hour at Vault, in the Northern Quarter, on Thursday 6 December at 7pm. Tickets available from the Box of Tricks website.

We’re really excited for 2013, which kicks off with Stars Are Fire in The Library Theatre’s re:play festival at The Lowry on Thursday 17 and Saturday 19 January. Tickets can be purchased from The Lowry’s box office. More tour information will follow very shortly…!
