Martin Gibbons
20th July 2009 by Martin GibbonsMartin’s directing credits for Monkeywood include: Once in a House on Fire, Last Orders and Maine Road. He also directed Match of the Day, as part of the critically acclaimed JB Shorts 7 and Animal Companions in JB Shorts 6. Before moving to Manchester, Martin directed numerous productions including Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead and The Glass Menagerie in his native North East. Martin is also a casting director and runs Martin Gibbons Casting.
His acting credits include a villager for The Kirov Ballet at The Lowry, A Taste of Honey for Northface Theatre Company and extensive touring for Team Players Theatre in Education Company. He has appeared on BBC 3 in the short film The Curse of Jeff.
